Assistant Dean, Student Judicial Affairs/Campus Disciplinarian - The
Disciplinarian, Judith Penchansky,
serves the campus as facilitator of investigations of violations of the
Student Conduct Code – AR 4410. Her primary role as Disciplinarian is to
oversee the Discipline staff, to interview students, to work hand-in-hand
with the faculty, to communicate regularly with Chief Miller, to participate
in the Appeals process and to make final decisions regarding the outcome of
discipline cases. She has initial authority to suspend students for Student
Conduct Code violations.
- Marilyn Goodrich, M.B.A.,
Administrative Assistant - Ms.
Goodrich handles all correspondence, establishes and maintains all files,
books appointments, and organizes all documents, including documents in
preparation for Hearings, Appeals, and other presentations.
- Vanita Nicholas, J.D.,
Counselor- Dr.
Nicholas’ duties include not only the investigative process of
interviewing a variety of witnesses and involved parties, she assists the
Disciplinarian in preparation for and during Hearings
before the Student Conduct Appeals Committee. Dr. Nicholas prepares the case
summary and recommends the appropriate documents and strategies for the
Hearing, and Appeal, if any.
