The Dual Enrollment Program provides high school students
with classes which may offer college credit and high school
credit simultaneously.
Dual Enrollment classes are worth 1 to 5
college units, upon successful completion of the class. The
same class may be worth a proportionate amount of high school
credits (usually ranging from 3 to 10 credits), depending
on the particular class and the high school where it is offered.
Many of the college units earned are
also transferable to four year colleges and universities should
a student wish to later pursue a four-year degree.
