ESL 16A is a 1 unit course that helps non-native speakers of English to understand and use the noun system (count, non-count, proper, common, singular, plural nouns) as well as possessives, and modifiers; and use articles ("a," "an," "the") and other determiners ("this," "that," "these," "those") appropriate with nouns. The course also helps students use correct verb agreement with such nouns in writing. May also be taken distance ed online. Check class schedule for availability.
