Master's in TESL,
TESOL, applied linguistics with a TESL emphasis, linguistics
with a TESL emphasis, English with a TESL emphasis, or education with a TESL
emphasis. OR Master's in linguistics, English,
bilingual/bicultural studies, speech, or a foreign language with
a TESL certificate.
In addition to the above qualifications, the preferred candidate may also have
proficiency in a second language, experience teaching at a community college, experience
teaching EFL, experience with CALL, experience teaching ESP or VESL, and membership and
involvement in professional organizations (TESOL, CATESOL).
