Welcome to the SMC support site for www.4facutly.org,
and online professional development course for California Community
College Faculty. This course intended for anyone currently
teaching at a community college or interested in doing so. In
particular, we encourage new SMC faculty to take this course, but all
faculty and prospective faculty are also welcome.
You can access all of the course
content for free at www.4faculty.org.
Just visit the site and create an account for yourself. You'll find
reading assignments, links to web sites, self-quizzes, and links to SMC
information.
The course has been authored by
faculty, staff, and administrators at 10 California Community Colleges,
including SMC, and is hosted by the Riverside Community College
District. In this self-paced online course
filled with links to SMC-specific information, you will:
