"Chinatown:" Screening & Discussion

As part of Santa Monica College’s focus on water as a theme for its Global Citizenship initiative, the college will present a screening and panel discussion of the classic film “Chinatown” Wednesday, Nov. 4. The 1975 Oscar-winning film – directed by Roman Polanski and starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway – focuses on a private detective who uncovers a vast conspiracy centering on water management, state and municipal corruption, land use and real estate, and at least one murder.
