Funded by a Title V Hispanic Serving Institutions grant, our F.Y.I. Summer Bridge program is designed to meet the needs of first generation college students. Our program promotes opportunities for Hispanic students and other students from economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.
We reduce barriers to allow for a positive transition from high school to college.
We fulfill this mission by combining a comprehensive orientation with specialized instruction, student services and enrollment services. Personalized counseling is provided in the form of educational planning AND assistance to accessing campus resources, especially financial resources.
