Linda
Linda Gold
has performed extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
She has performed with the Joffrey Ballet Company, the Wolf Trap Company,
Cincinnati Ballet Company, Dance/LA, Contemporary Dance Theater, the Historic
Dances of Ruth St. Denis, dance and Carillon festivals here and abroad, as well
as with her own Concert Ensemble. Recent performances include the L.A.
production of New York’s From the Horse’s Mouth, Spirit Dances I and VI,
Inspired by Isadora, and the Rangoli Festival of Music and Dance, part of
this year’s World Festival of Sacred Music. She is a member of the Dance
Films Association and was a jury member for the American Choreography Awards
presented by the Academy of Dance on Film. She has received grants from
the State of California, Rockefeller, Wolf Trap, and Corbett foundations for her
work. Guest lecturer and master teacher at numerous universities in the
U.S. and abroad, she has also presented papers at various dance conferences,
including the International Congress on Research in Dance (CORD) Conference.
She continues work on her doctorate at the University of Helsinki, Finland.
