Student Essay Included in “This I Believe”
SMC student Piotr Bal’s essay, “What is Real?,” has been posted on “This I Believe”. Bal is a Polish immigrant who had a difficult childhood and, through Susan Caggiano’s English class, found the writings of Aristotle eye opening. Bal, a musician, says he wrote his very first essay in English in Caggiano’s class in spring 2009.
SMC Newsmakers
