Santa Monica College Programs Especially for High School Students




Are you a high school student, looking for a way to enhance your college application? Consider taking a college class at Santa Monica College. High School Students may take a variety of college-level classes. These programs are free to high school students who are California residents.
Santa Monica College offers you three choices:
- Take one of the SMC Summer 2008 Institute for High School Students programs.
- Come to Santa Monica College campus and take classes through the High School Concurrent Enrollment Program.
- Take college level classes at your high school through the SMC Dual Enrollment Program.
Strengthen your educational profile by taking a SMC college class. You may be eligible to receive both college units and high school credit. Many of our classes also have transfer credit to the University of California and California State University Systems.
Is high school in your past, but you still need your high school diploma?
- Join our CAHSEE GRAD Program. You may participate in this program while enrolled in regular SMC classes!
