TUTORING ASSISTANCE
The Latino Center offers math and sciences tutoring services during the spring and fall semesters.  Tutoring services are limited during the summer and winter sessions. Tutoring is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

ANNUAL AWARDS CELEBRATION - May 30, 2008
The Latino Center joined several other SMC student services programs in recognizing student achievement during this year's Annual Student Services Awards Celebration.  It was a fun and exciting event that recognized transfer students and students who have earned an A.A. Degree or Career Certificate, academic scholarships, and other academic honors.  The evening included an awards ceremony, entertainment, and a reception.  

In previous years, ticket sales went to  the Latino Center's Scholarship Fund.  The event was FREE this year.  Donations to our scholarship fund can be sent directly to the Latino Center.  All contributions will benefit the Latino Center Scholarship Fund.
