Collects Cuban Art" Opening

 More
than 400 people attended the opening reception March 15
for "L.A. Collects Cuban Art," a first-of-its-kind
exhibit at SMC's Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery.
The show features 35 works from 20 private collectors
and is part of SMC's CubaFest 2002. The exhibit runs through

Opera Intensive" Receives $4,500 Grant from L.A. Cultural
Affairs Department
Daniel Chaney,
in his seventh season with Los Angeles Opera, performed with
students in SMC's "Spring Opera Intensive, which received
a $4,500 grant from the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs
