2004: Year In Review

2004 was a year of sweeping changes at SMC. President Dr. Piedad F. Robertson announced her retirement. Two new trustees were elected. We started our recovery from devastating budget cuts. New facilities came on line. There was much to celebrate – including our 75th anniversary and employees’ achievements. See the year in review in photos >>

Madison Performing Arts Complex Groundbreaking in January
After many years of planning, SMC is poised to hold a groundbreaking ceremony Jan. 19 for a new music and performing arts complex at the college’s Madison campus, marking a significant turning point in college history. More >>
