Liz
King, adjunct computer graphics and interactive media professor at the Academy of Entertainment & Technology, is the winner of the June Missed Information
Online "Website of the Month" contest. Her winning web page is http://www.lizking.tv.
With its simple "high-tech" design that's easy to navigate, the site has five links, including one for King's flash design, the highlight of her web page.
It also includes a list of the SMC classes she teaches.
King wins two free tickets to the July 5 Eldar Djangirov jazz concert in the SMC Concert Hall, thanks to the generosity of the SMC Music Department
and Marge Windish, in particular. Djangirov is a 15-year-old Russian jazz phenomenon, sweeping audiences worldwide with his virtuosity.
Now it's your turn -- submit your website for the July contest. The site you submit can be part of SMC's web page or can be completely separate from it. The only requirement is that
you (the contest entrant) must be featured on, or affiliated with, the site somehow. If you submitted for the June contest and did not win, you are welcome to enter again -- as many
times as you would like.
Entries must be received by July 15. All you have to do is send an email to Bruce
Smith, public information officer, listing your name, job title, and the website address. The winner will be announced in the August 1 issue.
