Voices,
the Women's College magazine, has won Missed Information Online's
inaugural Website of the Month Contest. The
Voices website has a beautiful and simple design, with the
use of gorgeous artwork. The site is user-friendly, with a
series of links on the lefthand side of the gateway page that
will get you to such features as stories and poems, articles
on politics, and "Our Bodies." Check it out at http://www.smc.edu/voices
Congratulations to Diana
Aghabegian, Voices faculty advisor and English professor,
and all who contributed to the site. Diana wins two complimentary
tickets to SMC's "Art in the Evening" lecture on
Michelangelo March 29 at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall, thanks
to the generosity of Charlie Yen,
events manager. Prizes will be awarded to each month's winner.
Now it's your turn -- submit your website
for the March contest. The site you submit can be part of
SMC's web page or can be completely separate from it. The
only requirement is that you (the contest entrant) must be
featured on, or affiliated with, the site somehow. If you
submitted for the February contest and did not win, you are
welcome to enter again -- as many times as you would like.
Entries must be received by March
22. All you have to do is send an email to Bruce
Smith, public information officer,
at bsmith@smc.edu
listing your name, job title, and the website address. The
winner will be announced in the April 1 issue.
