Castelo, computer lab specialist at the Academy of
Entertainment & Technology, is the winner of the October
Missed Information Online "Website of the Month"
contest for submitting his “illeffex” site.
A graphic designer with experience in virtually
all media – as well as an artist, photographer and illustrator
– Castelo has an ultramodern site with a slick use of
Macromedia flash. Probably the highlight of the website is
his portfolio, which showcases his talent in print ads, posters,
web sites, illustrations and sketches. Among his clients are
several music clubs.
Visit the website.
Castelo wins copies of the Fall and Spring
2002 issues of Santa Monica Review,
SMC’s acclaimed literary magazine, edited by Andrew
Tonkovich.
Now it's your turn -- submit your website
for the November contest. The site you submit can be part
of SMC's web page or can be completely separate from it. The
only requirement is that you (the contest entrant) must be
featured on, or affiliated with, the site somehow. If you
submitted for the October contest and did not win, you are
welcome to enter again -- as many times as you would like.
Entries must be received by Nov. 15.
All you have to do is send an email
to Bruce Smith,
public information officer, listing your name, job title,
and the website address. The winner will be announced in the
Dec. 1 issue.
