Three incumbents were re-elected to four-year terms and a newcomer was elected to the SMC Board of Trustees this month and will be sworn into office Dec. 16.

In the race for four seats, Trustee Dorothy Ehrhart-Morrison garnered the most votes, 15,054, or 21.72 percent. Challenger Nancy Greenstein received 14,084 votes, or 20.32 percent, followed by Trustee Carole Currey with 11,760 votes, or 16.97 percent, and Herb Roney with 11,750 votes, or 16.95 percent.

Trustee Nancy Cattell-Luckenbach was not re-elected, and challenger Bill Winslow came in last.
