Schwarzenegger Transition Team

Piedad F. Robertson has been named
to The Arnold Schwarzenegger Transition
Committee and will be advising the governor
on education issues. More >>
Board Selects Five Finalists
for Appointee
The SMC Board of Trustees has selected five finalists for
appointment to fill the unexpired term of Trustee
Patrick Nichelson, who resigned last
month. The finalists, selected from 22 applicants, are former
Santa Monica-Malibu Unified
School District Board Member Pam Brady;
retired Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Finkel;
Graham Pope, certified
public accountant; and attorneys Rob Rader and
William Winslow.
Finalists will be interviewed publicly at a special Board
meeting on Nov. 3 and, at the conclusion, the Board will
make an appointment and swear in the new trustee, who will
serve until the November 2004 election.
