New Liberal Arts Building Approved

The SMC Board of Trustees voted unanimously this month to approve a new Liberal Arts Building to replace the current structure that was heavily damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake.

Nichelson Resigns from SMC Board of Trustees
SMC Trustee Patrick Nichelson, citing “personal reasons,” has announced his resignation from the Board of Trustees, effective Sept. 30, after serving 16 years and earning a reputation as an intelligent, calm and witty board member.
