MUSIC 74, ORCHESTRA, is open to students and members of the community who have the ability to play an orchestral instrument at performance level, as demonstrated by audition. Repertoire is chosen from all areas of orchestral literature, including music from the 18th through the 20th centuries. Every fourth semester, members are chosen to perform concerto movements with the orchestra, as well as original compositions. Typically two concerts are programmed each semester.
