The poetry section begins with Dario and modernismo (1888-1910), postmodernismo (1910-1918) and vanguardismo (1918-1938): Neruda, Vallejo, Huidobro, Mistral, and Paz, among others, and concludes with postvanguardismo: Afro-Caribbean and other post-war poetic currents.
