Service-Learning Program

Service Learning is a teaching and learning method that integrates community service with academic instruction. Generally, students provide needed services through community agencies (typically 10-20 hours) and critically reflect on the experiences as a part of their coursework. For more information, please contact the course instructor or call SMC’s Service-Learning Program at (310) 434-8205.
