This is a beginning lecture and studio course in 3-D computer animation, emphasizing interior design and set design for film and TV. It will cover the basics of computer animation in a virtual interior with an emphasis on lighting, surface materials (textures), and camera angles. Beginning animations suitable for interior architectural walk-throughs will be created. The student will develop techniques, using state of the art software such as 3-D Studio Max, to create visual representations on high resolution computers of an actual interior design or set design for film and television.
