Computer Training– Employment for Seniors

REGISTER FOR ONE LEVEL ONLY. Registering for back-to-back eight-week sections of the same time & day is okay. But you must choose between levels & the type of content under OCC E00. You may not be enrolled in multiple levels of OCC E00.

Levels/Content areas: Introduction to Computers; Beginning, Intermediate or Advanced Word Processing; Data Management; working with Photos. The Internet is a separate course, HME EC E40, listed after OCC E00.

Put “ALT” by a second or third choice so you have every chance of being enrolled in at least one of your choices.

Weeks 1-8: August 30 – October 23

OCC E00 Introduction to Computer – (See next 8 weeks for Word Processing – Beginning I.)

Learn about computer hardware & software, Microsoft Windows, the mouse, and using keyboard function keys. A workbook available on site is recommended. Students must complete the Introduction class to benefit from other courses.

OCC E00 Word Processing – Beginning II (Continues work started in the summer.)

Students must complete Intro to Computers and know the keyboard to take Word Processing
