The Student Success Project (SSP) is primarily for first-year college students who plan to transfer and are looking for ways to connect with other students, instructors, counselors and with SMC in general. The connections are achieved:
• Socially with SMC peers—both inside and outside the classroom. Field trips are part of most SSP classes.
• Supportive academic advisement, personal counseling, and career development services available for all participants.
