Sue Ann Pinner, SMCOT Artistic Director, presents a special screening of “Patti Gallagher and Donald Fredrickson In Concert” to celebrate the 2005 release on DVD, VHS, and CD of this SMCOT television video featuring the popular dynamic duo. Continuing the celebration of SMC’s 75th Anniversary, the March concert features former SMC student Matthew Elgart—now adjunct professor of guitar at SMC—playing the “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaqun Rodrigo. May concert features current SMC Applied Music Program student Fang-Ning Lim conducting the “Egmont Overture” by Beethoven, and performances by the talented winners of the West Los Angeles Music Teachers Association Concerto Competition for instrumentalists.
