The Student Employment Program offered through the Financial Aid Office assists SMC students seeking jobs. On-campus jobs are available in many departments and programs on SMC’s main and satellite campuses. A variety of off-campus jobs are also available. There are two budget programs—Federal Work-Study (FWS) and Student Help (SH)—under which students may work. FWS is a Financial Aid award that pays the student wages for employment. SH pays students to work on campus through department and program budgets. For more information, please stop by the Financial Aid Office.
