SMC Associates & University of California Press Lecture

SMC Associates is a community-based support group that brings outstanding professionals and special events to SMC to stimulate student excellence. Associates members receive invitations to special activities and advance notice of lectures by world-class guest speakers. Yearly membership of $100 or more is entirely tax-deductible. Please visit the SMC Associates website (www.smc.edu/associates) for details. The Fall 2007 SMC Associates Lecture is presented in collaboration with the University of California Press, one of the largest, most distinguished, and most adventurous nonprofit publishers active today, issuing books and journals in the humanities, social sciences, and life sciences. UC Press is supported, in part, by philanthropic gifts from foundations and individuals, who receive a range of benefits in recognition of their generosity. For information about the lectures, please call (310) 434-4303. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.
