The African American Collegian Center offers comprehensive support services to help meet the special needs of SMC students and enhance their educational experience by providing:
• Academic, vocational, career, and personal counseling;
• Access to computers; and
• Scholarship and internship information.
The African American Collegian Center also coordinates the Black Collegians Program (see description in the “Planning Guides & Special Programs” section of this Schedule of Classes), which offers a variety of mentoring and support services that promote academic excellence and guide students through the transfer process.
