Students who drive may either park on the main campus, one of the satellite campuses, or use the shuttle lot serving the main campus. Planning where you park is important because street parking in the surrounding neighborhood is restricted on weekdays and on Monday through Thursday evenings. Campus parking decals are NOT VALID on these restricted streets.
Student decals for parking on the main campus cost $75 per semester (and $35 for either the Summer or Winter session). Decals may be purchased online through the Student Self-service System. Handicap Parking: The display of a DMV handicap placard AND an SMC parking decal entitles you to park in any handicap, student, or staff parking space. An important caution: Because car alarms are disruptive to other students and our neighbors, cars in the parking structures with activated alarms will be TOWED IMMEDIATELY at your expense.

Santa Monica College provides additional free parking and shuttle service from an off-campus shuttle lot. Students may also park for free at any of SMC’s four satellite campuses (Bundy, Airport Arts, AET, and the Performing Arts Center). Starting in Fall 2007, you will need a satellite campus parking decal, available free online or at each site.
The Big Blue Bus Sunset Ride operates Monday through Friday, day only, connecting the main campus, the new Olympic shuttle lot, the Bundy campus, the Airport Arts campus, and the AET campus. A separate shuttle connects the main campus with the Performing Arts (Madison) campus. For schedule times and hours of operation, visit www.smc.edu/parking. A mini-van service connects the Airport Arts campus to the Bundy campus.
