Please Meet the Author/Photographer

David Peevers has been profiling the lives of Santa Monica College people for nearly thirteen years. Because of his passionate belief that “education is the solution to all the world’s problems” he has profiled nearly 3,000 people who have bettered their lives through the learning life. Peevers is the co-author, with his wife Andrea, of many titles in the Lonely Planet travel guidebook series and he travels constantly around the world to photograph and write.

His work frequently appears in such publications as the New York Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, Bride’s Magazine, the Los Angeles Times and in journals throughout Europe. He makes his home in Los Angeles and can be contacted at: peeversla@aol.com
