Belly Dancing

Explore the dances and rhythms of the Near and Middle East as you develop the techniques of belly dancing, from proper and beautiful arm and hand movements to fluid body movements, belly rolls, and using finger cymbals. Bring a 7- to 9-foot-long piece of flowing fabric to class to use as a veil. Also bring finger cymbals (if you don’t have any, here’s a chance to find out how to make some out of bottle caps). The Alexander Technique

Fundamentals of Horsemanship

Learn the basics of horseback riding in a fun class that combines classroom instruction, groundwork, and riding instruction in the ring or on the trail. Get comfortable around horses, develop a secure seat, and find out how to communicate intelligently with the horse while you are in the saddle.
