Happy fiddling or imaginative jazz violin, sweet Suzuki ensemble or joyous orchestral performance—none of these change the fact that every violinist was once a beginning student starting from scratch! Learn basic and fascinating facts about the violin and the many different ways it can be played. Find out about the incredible range of sounds and emotions that can be created and communicated with this intriguing instrument, and why it plays such an important role in a symphony orchestra. Gain the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care of children entrusted to you while their parents or adult guardians are away. Your training will cover how to gain information for a safe and responsible babysitting experience, basic care of an infant and child, safety and safe play, hygienic techniques to prevent spreading of germs, a decisionmaking model to solve babysitting dilemmas, basic first aid, how to analyze and distinguish life-threatening and less serious emergencies and what to do in case of emergency, and much, much more! You’ll not only develop skills in leadership and professionalism, but also acquire useful tools for evaluating your abilities, limits, and job preferences as a babysitter, and for managing your babysitting business. Upon successfully completing your training, you’ll be awarded an American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training certificate. This unique learning enrichment series teaches reading, writing, speaking, and critical/creative thinking skills simultaneously, in classes built around games and activities that teach while they make learning fun!
