SMC Has a Phi Theta Kappa Chapter
Phi Theta Kappa has recognized academic excellence in the two-year college since 1918 and has become the largest and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world.

Membership is based primarily on academic achievement. Invitation to membership may be extended only by the local chapter at the institution in which you are enrolled.

EOPS
The Santa Monica College EOPS is committed to helping students extend their educational opportunities by providing a wide variety of support services.  EOPS services will help students meet and overcome the challenges and choices that are an important part of achieving a college education.

Associated Students
The Associated Students works hard to represent the interests of the student body and make important changes in enhancing student life at Santa Monica College. Black Collegians Program is designed to assist students of African descent in transferring to four-year schools and obtaining their Associate in Arts degree.
