How do I log in?

You may be required to log in to access some web pages.  To log in, use your regular SMC email username and password.  However, the system may also need to know your domain, which is SMC.  The way in which the domain should be entered depends upon which browser software you are using.  There are two possibilities. 

 If you are prompted only for username and password, you must enter your domain name before your username and separate it from your username with a slash (\).  The password you enter is your usual SMC password with no domain needed.

For Example:

Username:  SMC\doe_jane  
Password:  ******  

If this does now work for you, try the following:

Username:  doe_jane  
Password:  ******

If you are prompted for username, password and domain, you should enter your username and password as usual, and enter your domain where indicated.

For Example:

Username:  doe_jane  
Password:  ******  
Domain:     SMC

If you are asked to log in when you open a web page and you are unable to do so, try using a current version of Internet Explorer instead of Netscape.
