| Word 2000 Double clicking on the Format Painter icon enables you to apply attributes to text on your document repeatedly. [Esc] = Disables Format Painter Step 1 - Highlight text with attributes you need, like 18 pt. Bold, Garamond, from already formatted text. Step 2 - Double click the left mouse button on the Format Painter Icon (looks like a paintbrush). Step 3- Highlight desired text you need to apply attributes on from previous text.
