Auditions
In order to be eligible for casting in a Main or Studio Stage production, you must either be a currently enrolled SMC student (in a class other than the production) or have been a student at the college within the past year.

Prepare 32 bars of a song from musical theatre in the style of the show.
Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided.
Be prepared for cold reading from the script.

Prepare a 1-3 minute contemporary, realistic monologue that highlights your strengths as an actor.
Be prepared to do a cold reading from the play.

Chorus: 10 versatile narrators / commentators with great movement and rhythm skills
TA 15B is strongly recommended if you are planning to do this show. The TA 15B class is offered at 5:15pm, immediately after this class. Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:15-5:20pm. Some Friday rehearsals. Rehearsals start Sept 1st.

Students should prepare 32 bars from any musical theatre production and provide sheet
