Letter from the Editors

In this special summer issue of Voices, we continue our goal of informing, educating, and entertaining our readers with a variety of articles, stories, poems, and artworks. "Every issue is a woman’s issue," states Eileen Rabach, coordinator of The Women’s College, and that is our mantra for every issue of Voices. However, in every issue both women and men contribute to and actively participate in its development and production.

It has been a pleasure to work with all those involved in this special summer issue of Voices. We thank Joseph Palmer and John Greco, as well as all the students who allowed us to interview them, for their help and insight. We also thank Shari Williams for interviewing all of the students and writing the wonderful article on printmaking at SMC, and Allan Hurwit for taking all of the photographs of the students and their artworks. Finally, we thank the Media Center for taking over the monumental task of printing and binding this issue for your enjoyment. So, turn the page….
