REFERRAL PROCESS
Those
who are interested in these courses and want to inquire about tuition waivers
should contact their nearest WorkSource Center. Call our office at (310) 434-8111
to find out about center locations.
In general, the process of referral begins with attending an orienation at a WorkSource Center where individuals are informed of the center's full array of services. After the orientation, those who are interested in continuing with the process of enrollment will meet with an Intake Specialist who will cover the basic eligibility criteria. Upon the determination of eligibility, individuals can meet with a Case Manager who will develop an Individual Service Strategy that can include referral to training.
CALL OUR VENDOR TRAINING OFFICE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ANY OF THESE WIA-SPONSORED COURSES: (310) 434-8111
NOTE: WorkSource Centers may vary in their operations and delivery of service. By attending an orienation, individuals may learn about the steps needed to be referred to training.
* Individuals
can have their tuition covered by WIA if they are referred by a WorkSource
Center and are given an Individual Training voucher.
** Prices may vary due to changes in State certification requirements or program
content.
