This
program is funded by the CA Employment Training Panel (ETP) and the CA Chancellor's Office. It is designed
under the Career Ladder model and encourages upward career mobility throughout the field.
The goal of the program is to develop and upgrade the skills of workers, existing and new to the field, in order to increase their productivity and widen opportunities for career advancement.
The program allows manufacturing and logistics related companies to receive FREE training for their employees in any of the following:
- Quality Improvement Techniques
- Computer Training – MS Office, Image-Rendering, Database Management, etc.
- Electronic Data Interchange
- Web Site Creation/Management
- Standard Computer Protection
- Occupational Safety
- Import/Export Procedures
- Teambuilding/Leadership
- Six Sigma Concepts and Certifications
- Customer Service
- Communication Skills
- Cultural Diversity & Awareness
- Sales/Marketing Strategies
- Project Management
Training ranges from 25 to 180 hours
and
may be customized to meet
a company's special training needs.
Training can be offered throughout the Los Angeles County region or at a company's location(s).
