With the Supreme Court of the U.S. deciding on DACA soon, we want to support you and keep you informed. Below are possible dates of the ruling along with the dates of our Virtual Town Hall meeting on Zoom to discuss the decision and its possible consequences.

​​Schedule your DACA renewal appointment with CARECEN using their online system: CARECEN-LA College Legal Services

From there:
  1. Click the "Book Now" button
  2. Select the Santa Monica College tab
  3. Select first-time appointment (for DACA renewals, etc.)

For now, they have Mondays available for SMC students through their online system. Appointments may be conducted via video chat during the current social-distancing mandate.

Legal services through this agency are FREE for SMC students, staff, and faculty and includes DACA renewals, general consultation, and more!​​

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) funds qualified non-profits to provide free legal services for low-income individuals. The following organizations provide DACA renewal assistance. Assistance with USCIS DACA renewal filing fees may also be available. Services are not guaranteed. You must contact the organization directly to inquire about service availability.​
