Purpose
To promote effective coping with common life changes that follow a stroke an Acquired Brain Injury.
To foster a sense of wellness, empowerment and self-satisfaction.
To maintain physical fitness, flexibility, strength, endurance and balance through exercise.
To develop strategies that assist with functional cognitive skills, in daily activities
To enhance communication through group and computer exercises.

About the Program
- Free, no cost
- Program times: Fall and Spring Semesters, Winter & Summer sessions
- Communication classes: Wednesdays - 2 sections (based on skill level) and computer-based
- Physical exercise classes: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Cognitive class: Fridays
- Place: Emeritus College classrooms at 1227 2nd Street, Santa Monica, CA

How to Enroll in Pathfinders
Students must contact Stephanie Lewis, Center for Students with Disabilities at (310) 434-4442 prior to class attendance. Waiting lists are common for most classes.
Students must complete department application as well as Emeritus College enrollment.
