Onboarding Toolkit for Managers


The period of Onboarding a new employee to the District is vital to ensure each individual feels welcome to their department and the District.  It is an expectation that managers take the time to welcome, establish connections, provide tools, resources, and training that is proven to result in greater job satisfaction, increased productivity and effectiveness.  

The California Community College - Vision Resource Center offers "Onboarding New Hires as a Manager" as an Online Class.  District employees have access to this and other Vision Resources Trainings using their SMC credentials.
