A virtual celebration for the Latinx Heritage Month.

Tres Vidas (Three Lives) is a chamber music theatre work for singing actress and trio based on the lives of three legendary Latin American Women: Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, Salvadoran peasant activist Rufina Amaya, and Argentinean poet Alfonsina Storni. After the performance, there will be a Q&A with the actress.

The Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15 and has been celebrated nationally since 1988. It is celebrated this this time because many of the independence days of for many Latin American countries.

The Latino Center, Associated Students at Santa Monica College, and the Core Ensemble are co-presenters.
