We offer departmental certificates which are designed to introduce SMC students to
area studies.
By completing these certificates, students can begin to develop expertise in preparation
for transfer or the workplace.
The following degrees and certificates are currently available:

African and Middle Eastern Studies Certificate of Achievement
- Asian Studies Certificate of Achievement
- Latin American Studies Certificate of Achievement
- Spanish AA-T is currently being revised and will be updated to this page as soon as possible (As of July 22, 2020).
