International Students Mandatory Insurance
To access the F-1 insurance plan materials, please download the Insurance Program Brochure or visit the Student Login Portal.
These websites provide the most up-to-date information on where to find a provider, what is covered, deductibles, copays, and more.
The F-1 visa student's insurance is called GeoBlue and uses the Blue Cross Blue Shield network of providers.
You can create your student account by visiting GeoBlue, to gain access to your insurance card, search the provider directory, and view your claims. Look for an email titled “Welcome to GeoBlue” in your SMC Student Email for instructions on how to create your account.
