Errata: Spring 2025 Santa Monica Review
Live and learn. Or, at least, live to take responsibility for another mistake. Apologies to contributor Stephen Cooper, whose excellent essay (!) "John Fante, Unwritten" is, of course, Nonfiction not Fiction. That becomes profoundly obvious with a reading of a talk he gave in real life and adapted for this piece in the spring 2025 issue but somehow we messed up. You have this embarrassed editor's permission to write in the "Non" in your individual copies.

Errata: Spring 2024 Santa Monica Review
Apologies to the author, and to readers. There's a dumb typo in the spring 2024 issue, about which I am quite embarrassed. One letter makes a difference, and we messed up.
In Jeffrey Steven Moskowitz's excellent Skid Row Cake, the line on page 130 and, again, on page 131 should read "There's no on to move on to." Not "one." This editor gives everybody permission to please cross out the "e" in both places which of course will communicate the poignancy, desperate beauty, and wit of this line.
