Dr. David Fouser teaches environmental history, European history, and world history. He earned his BA and MA at California State University, Northridge, and his PhD at the University of California, Irvine. His areas of expertise include 19th-century Britain and the British empire, European history, world history, cultural history, environmental history, and the history of food. He has taught widely in Southern California, with past affiliations at UC Irvine, Cal State Northridge, Chapman University, and Laguna College of Art & Design. More recently, he has taught Environmental Science at University College Cork (Ireland) and worked for the United Nations Environment Program’s Global Environmental Monitoring System for Water (GEMS/Water).
