SMC Students Perform Better in 6-Week Classes

Did you know winter session offers a fast track to your goal? Succeed, faster!

SMC students perform better in 6-week classes than in 16-week, full-semester classes. More students completed the 6-week classes—with a higher GPA—and continued their success in later classes just like students who took 16-week classes.*

SMC’s 6-week winter 2020 session offers the largest selection of classes among community colleges in California. Hundreds of general education and skill-building classes are offered both online and on SMC’s campuses. We’re planning on your success.

  • #1 in Transfers to the UC for 28 Straight Years
  • #1 in Transfers to UCLA, USC, and LMU
  • #1 Choice for International Students
  • #1 Job Trainer on the Los Angeles Westside
