Mike Laurent is a licensed psychologist and Chair of the Marital & Family Therapy Program at California State University, Dominguez Hills. His research and clinical areas of specialty have been cross-cultural psychology, gender issues in psychology, marital and family therapy, counseling theories, Humanistic-Existential, Cognitive-Behavioral and Pos-Modern versions of therapy. He is an international board member of the Association of Humanistic Psychology, national member of Association of Black Psychologists and national member of APA's Division 51 (Men and Masculinities).
